At the recent press meet to announce the 55th Idea Filmfare Awards 2009 in Mumbai, Katrina Kaif very smartly admitted that winning an award is a great encouragement, however, more than anything she wants her films to win. She expressed her desire to win the award not just once but thrice! Infact she also said that, it is here and Salman who are never awarded. She would also be performing on stage at the Filmfare awards show which will be held on 27 February10 in Mumbai. Katrina also displayed her inert goodwill by rooting for other actresses like Priyanka Chopra and Vidya Balan to win the coveted award. She said, If I had to choose, apart from myself, I would choose Priyanka or Vidya. Kaminey is one of my favourite films. And I loved Vidya in Paa. Katrina herself is nominated for her performance in New York. The other nominees include Kareena Kapoor (for Kurbaan and 3 Idiots) and Deepika Padukone (for Love Aaj Kal).
